Nana Amoako-Anin

Nana Amoako-Anin
Studio Founder

[500-HR E-RYT® & YACEP® Yoga Alliance Continuing Ed Provider].

Nana Amoako-Anin is the founder of the studio, the creative director of the 200-Hour April Yoga Alliance Teacher Training, and a program advisor for all studio operations. As a practitioner of yoga for over 20 years, Bliss Yoga Accra began as more than a studio — it began as Nana’s personal path to healing. After years of building a demanding legal/banking career in the U.S., Nana discovered yoga as a refuge. What started as a way to find balance in her own life quickly grew into a calling: to share the practice with others searching for peace, strength, and renewal. When Nana returned to Ghana, she dreamed of creating a space where people could lay down the weight of the world and reconnect with themselves. A place that felt both grounding and uplifting, open to everybody and every journey. That dream became Bliss Yoga Accra! Founded in 2013. She's a regular fixture at studio classes and loves to engage with the studio community!

Nana Kusi [200-RYT®] is an alum of Bliss Yoga Accra’s yoga teacher training program, and a wellness enthusiast. He teaches Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga and Yin Yoga. He also integrates elements of mindfulness, pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation into his classes to help students nurture a deeper connection with their bodies and minds. He enjoys guiding beginner to intermediate yoga practitioners, as well as people recovering from injuries, in both group and private classes. He believes there is an inner Champion within us all–a Champion that represents the best version of ourselves, a Champion that can empower others in the world. I want to help people access their inner Champions on the yoga mat, so that when they step off the mat, they can go and create empowering stories that make the world a better place.

My name is Emmeline. [200-RYT®] I’m a social entrepreneur, a yogi and a wellness enthusiast. Yoga has been a transformative part of my journey — mentally and physically — and continues to shape me every day. I believe we’re all lifelong students on the mat, and as a teacher, I embrace this ongoing path of learning, growth, and sharing. I teach Vinyasa/Hatha flow classes designed to be both challenging and accessible, with sequences that build strength, flexibility, stamina, and awareness. My classes emphasize proper alignment and invite you to move mindfully — blending strength and softness in both body and mind. I completed my Yoga Teacher Training with Bliss in 2024, and I can’t wait to guide you through practices that leave you feeling balanced, empowered, and more connected to yourself.

She has had some amazing opportunities since she jumped head-first into education. As a qualified RYT-200, the lifetime dedication to her practice has seen her in diverse classes across the world, from prenatal and Yin classes in the UK, to online Hatha classes in Bahrain during the pandemic and to Kemetic and children’s yoga in Accra. However, her favourite by far is a music-driven Power Vinyasa Flow. There’s something about flowing to the smooth vocals of Hozier and Michael Jackson that puts her in a good mood every time!
